Square and Fountains
If you really want to breathe the air of Rome and fully enjoy its beauties, this is the tour for you. The starting point is in front of the church of Trinità dei Monti, with its breathtaking view of the city, and from here we’ll descend along the Spanish Steps to the elegant Piazza di Spagna.
This is one of the most evocative corners of Rome, immortalized over time by painters, writers and movie directors.
From Piazza di Spagna we’ll reach Fontana di Trevi where, in a timeless space, the triumph of water is celebrated in its changing forms.
The next stage of our walk will be the Pantheon, a masterpiece of ancient architecture, which inspired Michelangelo’s project for St. Peter’s dome. The last stop will be Piazza Navona.
The buildings that inclosed the square and the extraordinary Quattro Fiumi Fountain, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, make Piazza Navona a masterpiece of Baroque art …. and it’s also a perfect place for a great ice cream or a romantic dinner.
